Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Industrial Relations:

Maintain harmonious relations at the plant by addressing employee and union issues.
Negotiate wage agreements, handle disputes, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Manage grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries.

Human Resources:

Drive recruitment and manpower planning for the plant.
Implement employee engagement and performance management initiatives.
Conduct training and capability-building programs.

Legal & Statutory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to labor laws, Factory Act provisions, and company policies.
Maintain statutory compliance and timely submission of reports.

Contract Management:

Manage contract workforce deployment and ensure compliance with labor laws.

Stakeholder & Crisis Management:

Act as a bridge between employees, management, and external stakeholders.
Handle crisis situations like strikes or emergencies.

Health, Safety & Quality:

Ensure compliance with H&S policies and strive for zero fatality and zero lost-time incidents.

Qualification & Experience:

MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
10-15 years of experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing setup.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliances.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
