Job Location: Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Department: Healthcare (Business Advisory) Role- Sathguru’s healthcare advisory practice covers all sub-segments of the industry including pharmaceuticals, biotech, devices, diagnostics and delivery. The practice is differentiated by our combination of strategy and innovation advisory. Services provided include market entry and growth strategy, business plan development and innovation advisory on technology and product licensing and strategic partnerships. Sathguru seeks a Manager to lead teams and engagements in the healthcare vertical and meaningfully contribute to leading the firm to an industry leading position by leveraging our unique positioning and strengths. The Manager will be responsible for the healthcare advisory practice across industry sub-segments (biopharmaceuticals, devices and diagnostics). The Manager will report to the Director and will be responsible for: Implementing the practice strategic plan, the incumbent will be responsible for sourcing advisory engagements to meet targeted business development goals. Responsible for building, grooming and managing junior members of the healthcare advisory team. Engagement management, project execution and delivery: Nature of engagements: Comprehensive business advisory services, covering areas such as business plan development, commercial due diligence, strategic planning etc., These services aim to support organizations in making informed decisions, identifying growth opportunities, and executing transformative initiatives across various stages of their business lifecycle. . Engagement scoping: As the lead industry interface, the incumbent will sense client needs and will scope out services to meet client requirements and where innovation advisory or corporate finance/M&A services are offered. Manager will liaise with respective team leads at Sathguru to structure and deliver comprehensive and relevant services to the client. Engagement execution and delivery: Responsible for management and oversight of all healthcare advisory engagements. Responsible for engagement planning and execution and will have ultimate responsibility for Client satisfaction and delivery. Qualifications and qualities sought: 6 to 7 years experience with at least last three to four years in healthcare/life sciences practice of a consulting firm. Few years of research/industry experience preferred Scientific foundation in applied life sciences/biology/biochemistry and MBA Experience of leading client delivery, engagement execution, and managing teams Strong capability to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently and with high impact to all levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staff and management Strong analytical skills and perspective to deliver value-adding insights to clients and develop a reputation for thought leadership Self-starter and high level of motivation and drive required for aggressively building a differentiated advisory practice If you meet the requirements and are interested in applying for this position, please DM or share your updated resume at bhargavia@sathguru.com.
