Manager

About the role

• The warehouse manager is responsible for the end-to-end operations of the warehouse
• Ensure compliance with customs related requirements, rules, and procedures
• Coordinate with Customs, Excise and FSSAI for timely clearance and documentation
• Manage supervisors, manpower and MHE operators to ensure warehouse operations are seamless
• Manage labelling process with utmost attention to detail
• Manage smooth unloading of material, put away, GRN creation and logging in the system
• Ensuring material unloaded is in good condition
• Ensuring stocks are reconciled monthly
• Creating and implementing SOPs for all activities within the warehouse
• Share regular MIS reports with the customer
• Manage timely dispatch of material through efficient loading onto the vehicle
• Coordinate with customs officials to manage bonding and ex-bonding of goods

• Education:

  Graduate/post-graduate preferably in the field of Management studies or supply chain

• Work Experience:

  5+ years of relevant experience in logistics for Liquor cargo

• Competencies:

  Liquor handling experience is required, strong knowledge on managing warehouse operations, good communication skills

• Advanced skills:

  Knowledge of MS Office and WMS
• Someone with their own car / bike is preferred
