Job Description

As the Manager of Brand and Marketing Communication at Chanakya University, you will play a crucial role in leading the team and overseeing internal and external communications initiatives that align with the university's vision and goals. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various stakeholders, developing marketing and branding campaigns, managing internal communications, digital assets, and social media channels. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective marketing and branding campaigns. - Create a communications plan with a calendar of action and content aligned with key thought themes for brand building. - Manage internal communications, digital assets, and create engaging content for employees. - Oversee social media channels to ensure strong engagement. - Establish processes to ensure correct usage of branding by stakeholders and third parties. - Develop and execute an annual brand, marketing, and communications plan. - Create compelling content for various publications/platforms. - Support, plan, and execute events to engage students, faculty, alumni, and build thought leadership. - Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, update the website, and manage social media. - Coordinate with external agencies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality creative assets and campaigns. - Be responsible for brand guidelines and the style guide. - Build traction among print and digital platforms with the help of PR/media relationship manager. **Skills Required:** - Self-starting, proactive, and results-oriented. - Resilient, flexible, and open-minded. - Acts in accordance with Chanakya values and beliefs. - Ethical, collaborative, and enabling. - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Ability to manage uncertainty and variables effectively. **Qualification & Experience:** - Minimum of 4 years in an Agency & 3 years of Team Management Experience. - Previous experience managing teams in Creative, PR, Digital, and Website functions. - Understanding of Digital Media, SEO, and Google Analytics. - Expertise in brand management, design, and messaging. - Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Experience in brand management, advertising, public relations, and digital marketing. - Ability to manage and nurture a young team for growth. - Experience in managing designers. This position reports to the Director of Communications and requires candidates to have previously held designations such as Account Director, Marketing Lead, Director of Marketing, or COO.,
