Job Title: Manager – Accounts

• Job Summary:

The Manager – Accounts will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health by managing all accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role involves supervision of the accounting team and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain financial discipline and accuracy.

• Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Management

Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.

Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts.

Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and MIS reports.

• Taxation & Compliance

Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance.

Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns and payments.

• Budgeting & Cost Control

Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.

Monitor and control expenses to ensure adherence to budgeted limits.

• Banking & Treasury Management

Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Manage fund flow, working capital, and cash management activities.

• Team Management & Coordination

Supervise and train the accounts team to ensure smooth operations.

Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals.

• System & Process Improvement

Implement accounting software, ERP systems, and internal controls.

Identify process gaps and recommend automation or efficiency improvements.

• Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and company laws.

Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.

• Qualification & Experience:
• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• Experience: 8–10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
