Job Purpose

The position is that of Manager in Corporate Accounts and managing large capex negotiations for Asian Paints alongside technical projects team

Business Responsibility Areas

Be a part of evaluations for all major projects handled by Manufacturing Technology team - Play an active role in the technical and commercial evaluations of projectsVendor evaluationsExplore opportunities for cost savingsEngage with vendors for negotiationsPerform trend analysis for major material purchases and ensure projects are within the budgeted numbers Major deviations if any, are timely highlightedCheck for subsidy / benefits available to the entity and maximize their utilizationsEnsure all statutory compliances for the project are followed and complied withPerform checks in relation to vendors capability to deliver the project, highlight risks associated in the transaction and suggest suitable mitigation strategiesTrack the project costs and timeline and provide inputs to management in respect of time and cost overruns, if any periodicallyPrepare reports for consumption of top management regarding project statusLiaison with multiple teams in Corporate Finance to enable smooth functioning of the project ie, Legal, Finance, SSC, Taxation, Corp Accounts FA team etcConduct periodic reviews with the vendor to ensure desired service levels and standards are being maintained

1st Attempt CA Batch of 2023-2024

Previous Experience -

Prior experience working in Capex/ Fixed Asset with FMCG
