Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Actively engage with internal and external auditors for timely completion of audits
Prepare financial statements
Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet & P&L reconciliations and preparation and timely submission of quarterly BPC packs
Monthly reconciliation of inter-company accounts with group entities and regular settlement of balances
Accurate maintenance of fixed asset register, posting of monthly depreciation journals as per statutory requirements and managing periodic physical verification of asset
Provide support in ensuring timely compliance with external regulatory requirements
Identity and implement initiatives to simplify and strengthen processes
Monitor internal controls as per the Group frameworks and ensure corrective actions are implemented on timely basis

Essential Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with working experience in industry, preferably in-service industry
Experience in managing team
Fluent English (both written and verbal)
Candidates who have done CA articleship in BIG 4s would be highly preferred
Strong analytical ability with effective communication and interpersonal skills
Conversant in the use of Microsoft products and experience in other ERP systems
