Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Actively engage with internal and external auditors for timely completion of audits
• Prepare financial statements
• Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet & P&L reconciliations and preparation and timely submission of quarterly BPC packs
• Monthly reconciliation of inter-company accounts with group entities and regular settlement of balances
• Accurate maintenance of fixed asset register, posting of monthly depreciation journals as per statutory requirements and managing periodic physical verification of asset
• Provide support in ensuring timely compliance with external regulatory requirements
• Identity and implement initiatives to simplify and strengthen processes
• Monitor internal controls as per the Group frameworks and ensure corrective actions are implemented on timely basis
  

Essential Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with working experience in industry, preferably in-service industry
• Experience in managing team
• Fluent English (both written and verbal)
• Candidates who have done CA articleship in BIG 4's would be highly preferred
• Strong analytical ability with effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Conversant in the use of Microsoft products and experience in other ERP systems
• Flexibility to work with changing environment
