Job Purpose

Business Responsibility Areas

• Be a part of evaluations for all major projects handled by Manufacturing Technology team - Play an active role in the technical and commercial evaluations of projects.
• Vendor evaluations
• Explore opportunities for cost savings
• Engage with vendors for negotiations
• Perform trend analysis for major material purchases and ensure projects are within the budgeted numbers. Major deviations if any, are timely highlighted
• Check for subsidy / benefits available to the entity and maximize their utilizations
• Ensure all statutory compliances for the project are followed and complied with
• Perform checks in relation to vendor’s capability to deliver the project, highlight risks associated in the transaction and suggest suitable mitigation strategies
• Track the project costs and timeline and provide inputs to management in respect of time and cost overruns, if any periodically
• Prepare reports for consumption of top management regarding project status
• Liaison with multiple teams in Corporate Finance to enable smooth functioning of the project i.e., Legal, Finance, SSC, Taxation, Corp. Accounts FA team etc.
• Conduct periodic reviews with the vendor to ensure desired service levels and standards are being maintained
