Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Workshop Management: Supervise all repair and fabrication works related to bus body structure, panels, welding, painting, and finishing. Allocate tasks to technicians and monitor daily workflow to ensure timely completion. Maintain quality standards in line with OEM or company benchmarks. Technical Oversight: Diagnose and assess the extent of body damage and prepare repair estimates. Inspect completed work for quality assurance before vehicle release. Ensure proper use of tools, welding machines, and painting equipment. Inventory & Coordination: Coordinate with the procurement team for parts, panels, paints, and consumables. Maintain adequate inventory of materials and raise requirements as needed. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and fire safety protocols. Maintain service records, job cards, and repair logs for audit and analysis. Team Management: Lead a team of welders, painters, and body technicians. Conduct periodic training and upskilling sessions for the team.
