About the Role

Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant machinery.
• Ensure high uptime of equipment across

  forging presses, CNC/lathe machines, heat treatment furnaces, and electroplating lines

  .
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize breakdowns.
• Implement cost-effective maintenance practices and control spare parts inventory.
• Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance engineers/technicians.
• Liaise with production, quality, and safety teams to support continuous manufacturing operations.
• Maintain documentation of breakdown reports, maintenance logs, and spare usage.
• Drive automation and modernization initiatives for efficiency improvement.
• Ensure compliance with statutory norms related to safety, environment, and equipment standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized repair and AMC contracts.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in

  maintenance within forging / electroplating / heat treatment industries

  .
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, electrical panels, furnaces, compressors, boilers, and plating lines.
• Proven ability to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical approach.
• Familiarity with ISO/TS standards and industrial safety protocols.
