Role : Maintenance Manager

Education Qualification : Diploma Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Years of experience : 10-12 yrs

Accountable & Responsible for :

• Manage, supervise, and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules, ensuring efficient and timely completion of work.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and address issues promptly.
• Assign tasks to technicians, prioritize workloads, and monitor progress to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Inspect and maintain facilities, equipment, and systems, including AC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
• Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs or coordinate with specialized contractors.
• Assist with departmental budgets, track maintenance expenditures, and manage inventory of tools and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and other relevant guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair costs.
• Evaluate the performance of maintenance technicians, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• A good understanding of industrial equipment, including machinery used in fabrication (e.g., Plasma plate Cutting, EOTs, lathes, saws, etc.), as well as electrical systems that power them.
• Familiarity with different welding processes, materials, and safety procedures is crucial.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with fabrication equipment.
• Ability to quickly assess and resolve issues, making decisions under pressure and adapting to unexpected situations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in fabrication shops.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste. This shall be considered as added advantage.
