Maintenance Engineer

Role Description

1. Injection Molding, Blow Molding Machine Maintenance:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all injection molding machines to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in injection molding equipment.
• Monitor and optimize machine parameters to improve product quality and reduce cycle time.

1. Utility Systems Maintenance:

• Maintain and repair utility systems related to injection molding, including cooling towers, air compressors, chillers, and dryers.
• Ensure the utility systems are operating efficiently to support the production process.
• Monitor utility usage and implement energy-saving initiatives.

1. Equipment Installation and Commissioning:

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new injection molding machines and related utilities.
• Ensure proper setup and calibration of equipment to meet production specifications.

1. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine downtime, and repairs.
• Prepare and submit regular maintenance reports to management.
• Update and maintain equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures.

1. Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement in the injection molding and utility maintenance operations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

1. Health & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Education:

  Diploma/BE

• Experience:

  Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, with a focus on injection molding, Blow molding, and utility systems.
