Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) at Chemosyn Limited, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and electrical systems in our manufacturing facility. This entry-level role is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to apply their technical knowledge and grow within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Maintenance (for Mechanical Engineers):

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

• Assist in the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment.

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and SOPs during maintenance tasks.

• Electrical Maintenance (for Electrical Engineers):

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including panels, motors, drives, and control circuits.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution to support production.

• Assist in the installation and testing of electrical equipment and systems.

• Monitor and maintain power distribution systems and backup generators.

• Adhere to electrical safety regulations and company policies.

• General Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment availability and efficiency.

• Support senior engineers in major repair and overhaul activities.

• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the maintenance department.

• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university (2024/2025 pass-outs only).

• Diploma holders in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering may also apply.

• Experience:

• Fresher (No prior work experience required).

• Internship or training in a manufacturing/pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

• Skills and Competencies:

• Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and maintenance practices.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• Other Requirements:

• Knowledge of safety protocols and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is desirable.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).

• Local candidates from Vapi or nearby areas are preferred.
