Job Summary: The Logistics Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of FMCG products while optimizing cost, efficiency, and quality. This role requires coordination between suppliers, warehouses, transporters, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities: Logistics Planning & Coordination Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics operations. Plan and schedule transportation to ensure timely deliveries to distribution centers, retail outlets, and customers. Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and warehouses for smooth movement of goods. Inventory & Warehouse Management Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and dispatch. Ensure accuracy in stock records and timely updates in the inventory management system. Transport & Route Optimization Select and manage transport routes to minimize cost and delivery time. Monitor vehicle performance, fuel usage, and transportation expenses. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and maintain delivery documents, invoices, bills of lading, and customs documentation if required. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and FMCG industry standards. Performance & Reporting Track KPIs related to delivery time, transportation cost, and order fulfillment. Prepare periodic logistics performance reports for management. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Maintain relationships with logistics vendors and transporters. Resolve delivery-related issues promptly. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 1–3 years experience in FMCG logistics or supply chain operations. Knowledge of FMCG distribution networks and cold chain logistics (if applicable). Familiarity with ERP and logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Tally, Zoho, etc.). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
