Logistics Executive

• Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain, coordinating all aspects of getting products from origin to destination.
• Shipment & Transportation: Plan, schedule, and monitor shipments, manage transportation, and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Inventory & Warehousing: Manage inventory levels to ensure proper stock, and oversee warehousing and product storage.
• Vendor & Carrier Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and transportation carriers.
• Cost & Efficiency Optimization: Analyze and negotiate freight rates, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all shipment-related documents are accurate and up-to-date, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Track logistics performance metrics, monitor carrier performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers regarding logistics matters.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues or discrepancies that arise in the logistics process.
• Required Skills Analytical Skills: To analyze logistics data, monitor performance, and identify inefficiencies.
• Communication Skills: To liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Technological Proficiency: Experience with logistics software and warehouse management systems.
• Negotiation Skills: For negotiating freight rates and services with carriers. Problem-Solving: To resolve issues and discrepancies in the supply chain.
• Attention to Detail: To ensure accuracy in documentation and shipment tracking.
