Job Title: Logistics Executive (Preferred Male)

Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu

CTC: 2.5LPA - 3.5LPA

Experience: 1–3 Years

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Logistics Executive to manage and oversee the complete logistics function of our business. This includes handling all logistics processes from order receipt to the delivery of goods using our fleet of vehicles. The role will also require coordination with clients and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through seamless delivery operations and feedback management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing & Management:
  • Coordinate with sales and production teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
  • Generate order documentation, including invoices, Photo reports etc.
  • Co-ordinate with Local Marketing Agencies / Marketing Assistance for Vehicle Return Load Activities
  • Fleet Management:
  • Plan and coordinate the dispatch and delivery schedules of company-owned vehicles.
  • Ensure that vehicles are regularly maintained, insured, and comply with safety standards.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and ensure efficient utilization of the fleet.
  • Coordinate drivers and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Montier Vehicles Live Tracking via GPS and Tracking Application Software etc.,
  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of Basic Spares to ensure stock availability for timely deliveries.
  • Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure proper stock movement.
  • Logistics Coordination:
  • Manage transportation costs, ensuring cost-effective logistics solutions.
  • Monitor the progress of shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Customer Communication & Feedback:
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on order status, delivery tracking, and resolution of any logistics-related issues.
  • Collect customer feedback post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and implement improvements where needed.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns regarding logistics operations promptly and professionally.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including orders, documents, and delivery confirmations.
  • Prepare reports on delivery performance, vehicle utilization, and logistics costs.
  • Ensure compliance and Co-ordinate with CRM team with all relevant regulations, including transportation laws, safety standards.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously assess logistics processes and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices for logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management (preferably in manufacturing or a similar industry).
  • Proven experience in managing a fleet of vehicles for commercial use.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, ERP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
