Job Description

Job Summary
You will manage end-to-end logistics operations including inward/outward material movement, dispatch planning, transporter coordination, documentation accuracy, stock tracking, and ensuring all deliveries reach customers, dealers, and vendors on time. This role demands precision, ownership, and the ability to handle high-volume daily dispatches without errors.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
Dispatch & Delivery Management
Plan, execute, and track all daily dispatches (courier, transport, local deliveries).
Ensure deliveries reach on time; follow up with transporters until completion.
Maintain real-time dispatch tracker on Excel/ERP.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, and sales teams for dispatch priorities.
Inward & Outward Material Handling
Oversee receiving of materials, components, and finished goods.
Verify quantities, condition, and documentation for all inward material.
Ensure accurate outward movement with correct packing, labels, and documentation.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare LR, invoice, e-way bill, delivery challan, and other transport documents.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, exchanges, and replacements.
Ensure documentation is complete, error-free, and compliant with internal SOPs.
Transporter & Vendor Coordination
Liaise with transporters, courier partners, and local delivery agents.
Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or missing materials.
Negotiate rates for regular shipments where required.
Track PODs (Proof of Delivery) for every dispatch.
Inventory & System Updates
Update stock movement in ERP/Excel daily.
Work closely with warehouse team to ensure accurate cycle counts.
Flag discrepancies immediately and follow up on root cause resolution.
Issue Management & RCA
Handle delayed shipments, damaged goods, wrong deliveries, or missing items.
Conduct basic root-cause analysis and propose corrective actions.
Maintain a log of issues and ensure closure.
Coordination with Internal Teams
Work with sales, customer support, production, procurement, and finance.
Prioritize urgent orders, replacements, or project deliveries.
Manage internal communication related to dispatch timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of logistics, dispatch, and shipment tracking.
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, filters, sorting, basic formulas).
Understanding of LR, e-way bill, challans, and invoice documentation.
Experience working with ERP or logistics tracking systems.
Strong follow-up ability and clear communication.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple shipments under pressure.
Ownership mindset and problem-solving attitude.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related fields.
Experience in electronics, FMCG, or manufacturing dispatch environments.
