Logistics Coordinator

Job Title: Logistics Executive – Freight Forwarding (Fresher)

Location: Mangalore (On-site)

Working Hours: S-T 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM or as per job demand

About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented freshers to join our freight forwarding team. This role is ideal for candidates who want to start their career in logistics and supply chain management. Along with operations, the candidate will also support the pricing team in preparing competitive freight quotes for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in coordinating import/export shipments across air, sea, and road freight.

Support in preparing and maintaining shipping and customs documentation.

Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents for smooth cargo movement.

Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to clients.

Assist the pricing team in preparing freight quotations for customers.

Collect and compare rates from carriers, shipping lines, and transport vendors.

Update rate sheets and maintain pricing records for internal reference.

Handle basic customer queries and support the operations and pricing team in day-to-day tasks.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and documentation as per company standards.

Learn and comply with international trade regulations, pricing strategies, and logistics procedures.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field (preferred).

Fresh graduates are welcome – no prior experience required.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Good analytical ability with attention to detail.

Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Eagerness to learn about freight forwarding, pricing, and supply chain processes.
