Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient LMS Administrator to manage and maintain our learning platform built on WordPress. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth delivery of online training content, provide timely user support, and collaborate with content creators to deliver engaging and effective e-learning solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Management & Maintenance:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of the WordPress-based LMS (e.g., LearnDash, Sensei LMS).
  • Install, configure, and update WordPress core, themes, and necessary plugins.
  • Monitor system performance, implement security protocols, and apply updates/patches in collaboration with IT or hosting providers.
  • Content & Course Administration:
  • Upload, configure, test, and deploy new e-learning courses, modules, and assessments.
  • Manage course catalogs, curricula, and learning paths, ensuring content is organized and accessible.
  • Ensure all content (e.g., SCORM, videos, quizzes) is compatible and functions correctly within the platform.
  • User Support & Management:
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within WordPress and the LMS plugin.
  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users (learners and instructors), troubleshooting access issues, navigation problems, and other technical hiccups.
  • Create and maintain support documentation and potentially train staff on LMS functionality.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
  • Generate standard and custom reports on user progress, course completions, and training effectiveness for stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and optimize the learning experience.
  • Integration & Customization:
  • Integrate the LMS with other essential systems such as HRIS, e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce), or third-party tools/APIs to streamline processes and data flow.
  • Collaborate with developers or vendors to implement configuration changes or custom features as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in an LMS Administrator, e-Learning Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress CMS and experience with popular WordPress LMS plugins (e.g., LearnDash, Sensei LMS, LifterLMS).
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to web platforms and integrated systems.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and database management (MySQL) is a plus.
  • Understanding of e-learning standards such as SCORM or xAPI.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to system maintenance and improvement.

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related field is often preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
