Job Description

Position Overview: The Technical Executive in the lift industry is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lift and elevator systems. This role ensures that all technical aspects of the lift's lifecycle, from design to operational efficiency, meet safety standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation and Commissioning:  Supervise the installation of lift and elevator systems as per the company’s and client’s specifications.  Perform final system checks and ensure smooth commissioning of the lift systems.  Coordinate with contractors and engineers to address on-site challenges. 2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:  Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal lift performance.  Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including mechanical and electrical faults.  Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide prompt solutions. 3. Technical Support and Documentation:  Provide technical support and guidance to clients, technicians, and installation teams.  Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.  Prepare technical reports and ensure proper documentation of system performance. 4. Compliance and Safety:  Ensure all lifts and elevator systems meet safety regulations and industry standards.  Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments on lift systems.  Train staff and clients on lift safety protocols and usage guidelines. 5. Product Knowledge and Innovation:  Stay updated on the latest lift and elevator technologies and trends.  Provide feedback to the design and R&D teams for product improvement.  Participate in technical training sessions to enhance expertise. 6. Client Interaction:  Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and offer solutions.  Address client concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction. 7. Qualifications and Skills:  Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.  Proven experience in lift or elevator installation, maintenance, or technical support.  Strong understanding of lift components, including motors, control systems, and safety mechanisms.  Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the lift industry.  Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.  Ability to work independently and in a team environment.  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
