Job Description

As a Contracts and Agreements Specialist, your role involves reviewing, analyzing, and drafting a wide range of contracts and agreements, such as vendor contracts, service agreements, licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other legal documents. You will be responsible for engaging in contract negotiations with external parties to ensure the company's best interests are represented while maintaining positive business relationships. It is essential to ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, identifying and assessing potential legal risks associated with contracts, providing proactive solutions to mitigate such risks, and conducting legal due diligence. Key Responsibilities: - Review, analyze, and draft various contracts and agreements - Engage in contract negotiations with external parties - Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies - Identify and mitigate potential legal risks - Maintain a contract management system - Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders - Stay updated with relevant legal developments - Collaborate with legal teams and other departments - Create contract and communication templates - Have fair knowledge of litigation procedures in US, UK, and India Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) - Additional qualifications, such as an LLM, would be a plus Additional Company Details: You will report to the Chief Legal Officer, India. Your general skills should include excellent written and verbal communication, ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly, creating presentations, people management, analytical and problem-solving skills, multitasking, teamwork, adaptability, professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct. Your technical skills should include in-depth knowledge of contract law principles, contract drafting, negotiation, US, UK, and India statutory requirements, familiarity with contract management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. With 10-15 years of experience in a senior position with exposure to UK and US procedures and jurisdiction, preferably in a corporate or shared services environment, and experience in reviewing cross-border agreements and recent regulatory updates, you are well-suited for this role.,
