We are seeking a skilled Legal Officer with 2-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in corporate law, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to ensuring legal compliance within our organization. You will play a critical role in managing legal risks, providing strategic legal advice, and supporting various departments in navigating legal challenges.

This position is preferred for female candidates.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Providing legal advice and support to various departments within the organization.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases and to keep updated with changes in laws.
• Representing the company in legal proceedings and negotiations when necessary.
• Managing and coordinating with external legal counsel on complex legal matters.
• Maintaining proper documentation and legal records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Training and educating staff on legal compliance and risk management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law or litigation.
• Strong understanding of Indian legal system, contract law, labor law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal agreements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present legal concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with legal software and tools for documentation and case management.
• A valid license to practice law in India.
