Location-Mumbai

Profile- Legal Head (LLB, LLM)

Experience-4 years

Ctc- upto 12 lpa

Working Days- 6 days (2& fourth Saturday off)

∙ 1. Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, especially Companies Act, SEBI LODR regulations, Insider Trading Regulations, and other SEBI guidelines applicable to listed entities.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies such as SEBI, NSE/BSE, ROC, MCA, etc., and ensure timely filings and disclosures.
• Ensure statutory compliance under relevant laws applicable to E- commerce operations (IT Act, Consumer Protection Act, Data Protection, etc.).

2. Board & Corporate Governance Support:

• Draft and review board resolutions, notices, minutes, and ensure compliance with board governance norms.
• Advise senior management and Board of Directors on legal and regulatory matters impacting a listed entity.

3. Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts – vendor agreements, service contracts, digital marketing agreements, technology & licensing contracts, logistics, and warehousing contracts.
• Maintain a centralized and updated contract repository with regular risk assessments.

4. Litigation & Dispute Management:

• Manage all litigation and pre-litigation matters across consumer, civil, and regulatory forums.
• Coordinate with external counsel for effective representation of the company in legal disputes.

5. Compliance with E-commerce & Technology Laws:

• Ensure adherence to consumer protection (E-commerce Rules), cyber security, data privacy laws (DPDP Act), and platform liability regulations.
• Advise on terms & conditions, privacy policy, and related digital legal documentation.

6. Intellectual Property (IP):

• Manage and safeguard the company’s trademarks, copyrights, and other IP assets.
• Handle IP infringement and brand misuse issues.

7. Team Management & Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals and compliance officers.
• Develop internal legal policies and training modules to build legal awareness across departments.
