Job Description

Designation - Executive - Legal

Experience - 2+ Years

Location - Bangalore

Requirement: Proficiency in Kannada (spoken and written) is a must-have.


Executive – Legal

This position is responsible for supporting the company’s legal function by assisting in day-to-day legal matters and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role involves reviewing and drafting basic contracts and agreements, maintaining legal documentation, coordinating with external counsel, and providing support in litigation and regulatory matters. The executive will also assist various departments in legal risk assessment and ensure timely compliance with corporate, labour, and commercial laws impacting business operations.


1. Corporate Laws & Regulatory Compliance

Deep understanding of the Companies Act, Food Laws and regulations, Legal Metrology, Civil and Criminal, Trade Mark Laws and other applicable laws.

2. Contract Management

Drafting, reviewing, vetting, and negotiating commercial agreements, Official Letters including replies to Consumers, NDAs, MoUs, Policies, and service contracts and reviewing the drafts prepared by legal teams, (MTR BU, EASTERN -BU, IMEA).

3. Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Handling legal notices, replying to legal and other notices, managing litigation strategy, liaising with external counsel, and representing the company in legal forums, quasi -judicial authorities, and other government bodies, and maintaining DMS and legal strategy, and providing timely updates to seniors about the status of cases. Reviewing plaints, drafts, affidavits and other required documents before producing it before the competent court of law or quasi judicial authorities.

4.Legal Risk Management

Identifying legal risks and ensuring appropriate controls to mitigate liabilities.

5. Legal Advisory & Opinion

Providing proactive legal advice to internal stakeholders on operational, HR, procurement, and strategic matters.

Compliance & Statutory Reporting

Ensuring timely filings with regulatory bodies (ROC, SEBI, POSH etc.) and maintaining records in accordance with statutory requirements.

7. Policy Development

Drafting and updating internal legal policies, SOPs, and codes of conduct.

8. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

Knowledge of registration and protection of trademarks, copyrights, patents, and managing IPR issues.
