Job Description

As a candidate with 4 to 7 years of post-qualification experience, your role will involve working on implementing compliance programs and scoping out contractual and compliance obligations from client contracts. You are expected to have sound knowledge of regulations from sectors such as Financial Services (FS), Healthcare, Insurance & Life science (HIL), Utility & Energy, Retail, Consumer Goods, Logistics (RCL), and Communication, Media & Technology (CMT) verticals. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with ERM (Risk Management), Quality Team, Delivery leadership, and Sales Account Team to assess risks and design vertical compliance programs. - Reviewing and advising on the design and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines. - Coordinating between different teams for the development and implementation of the compliance framework. - Providing guidance on compliance queries from client engagements and participating in discussions with delivery teams. - Conducting risk assessments of downstream processes to ensure compliance conditions are met. - Assisting in reviewing customer contracts, identifying contractual obligations, and interpreting relevant laws and regulations. - Acting as the legal Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the compliance program team on the compliance framework and governance. - Designing compliance certification framework and participating in learning and development activities for sectoral compliances. Required Skills: - Extensive report development and policy/procedure development experience in a multinational corporation. - Experience in public speaking and business presentation. - Knowledge of IT industry regulatory standards including Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Trade Controls, Immigration laws. - Independent project management skills. - Excellent analytical and communication skills. - Acceptance of innovative approaches and ability in handling change management. Qualifications: - Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years" experience in the relevant domain.,
