Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking client instructions, statements and day to day handling of casework matters.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Prepare and submit visa applications under UK immigration rules, including:
• Spouse, partner, child, visitor, and settlement routes
• Assist with business immigration matters such as:
• Sponsor licence applications
• Skilled Worker visas
• Global Business Mobility routes
• Attend client meetings and take instructions under supervision
• Liaise with clients to collect documentation and provide case updates
• Handle the end-to-end process of:
• Lodging First-tier Tribunal appeals
• Preparing witness statements and evidence bundles
• Researching objective sources to build strong, clear and convincing casework.
• Drafting English-based legal documents, including statements, applications and client care letters.
• Managing legal files and documentation using the firms case management system.
• Recording of time spent and evidencing work done in accordance with Company case management procedures.
• Commitment to client care and professional ethics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Must have at least one year of experience in the legal field. Prior work experience in a law firm or similar setting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities.
• Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with electronic documents and paperless systems.
• Able to comply with all relevant Company procedures and meet performance targets.
