Hiring: Legal Associate - Real Estate

We are looking for a qualified and driven legal professional to join our in-house legal team at Royale Builders & Developers. This role is ideal for someone with strong legal fundamentals, practical exposure to real estate matters, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Liaison & Legal Coordination Coordinate with external counsel to initiate, track, and follow up on all legal matters, including litigation and regulatory filings.

2. Title Due Diligence : Conduct thorough title verification and legal due diligence on properties. Scrutinize historical ownership records, identify risks, and flag inconsistencies.

3. Drafting & Documentation Assist in drafting agreements related to real estate transactions-sale deeds, development agreements, lease/license deeds, MoUs, PoAs, etc.

4. Legal Research & Compliance Advisory

Provide legal research and insights on property laws, RERA, land acquisition norms, municipal regulations and other relevant statutes.

5. Internal Reporting and easily accessible.

Maintain trackers, provide timely updates on legal matters, and ensure documentation is well-organized

Candidate Profile:

- Education: LLB from a recognized institution

- Experience: 1-3 years in real estate or civil/commercial law

- Preferred Background: Prior experience at a reputed law firm in Bangalore handling real estate or property matters will be an added advantage

- Language Proficiency: Must be able to read and write in Kannada

Key Skills:

- Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities

- Sound understanding of property law and real estate documentation

- Effective communication and negotiation skills

- Strong time management with the ability to meet deadlines

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Additional Advantage:

- Familiarity with Karnataka Land Revenue Act, BBMP/BDA processes, RERA compliance

- Experience with land conversion, mutation, survey issues, and registration procedures
