Role & responsibilities Site Acquisition & Scouting Identify potential retail spaces in malls, high streets, and Tier 13 cities. Conduct market visits and assess footfall, visibility, access, and synergy with brand identity. Maintain a strong broker and landlord network to generate leads. Feasibility & Evaluation Perform catchment analysis, trade area studies, and competition benchmarking. Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to run ROI and payback calculations. Prepare detailed site evaluation reports for management approval. Negotiation & Closure Lead lease/rent negotiations with landlords, developers, and mall operators. Coordinate with legal teams to vet and finalize lease agreements. Liaise with internal teams (store design, projects, operations) to ensure timelines are met. Project Monitoring Track the fit-out and handover process to ensure a timely store launch. Support the Projects and Store Operations teams with property-specific information. Reporting & Documentation Maintain an active database of shortlisted and rejected properties. Provide periodic updates on the pipeline and newly signed sites. Preferred candidate profile Education: Graduate in Real Estate, Business Management, Architecture, or related field. MBA preferred. Experience: 7 to 12 years in real estate/site acquisition for retail, F&B, or hospitality sectors. Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills Good understanding of lease terms and retail property dynamics Familiarity with retail zoning and city-level development norms Ability to travel frequently
