Job Description: Senior Manager – Learning Solutions & Consulting
Role Overview
The Senior Manager – Learning Solutions & Consulting will lead the design, delivery, and orchestration of cutting-edge learning and leadership development solutions. This role blends consulting expertise with instructional design excellence, ensuring impactful, scalable, and learner-centric outcomes for enterprise clients. The position emphasizes client engagement, solution innovation, and cross-functional collaboration, while also mentoring and developing internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and development of learning and leadership solutions, integrating assessment methodologies, instructional design principles, and innovative technologies.
- Translate narrative scripts and complex academic or technical concepts into engaging learning experiences (storyboards, videos, simulations, and blended learning solutions).
- Drive visualization and design consistency across all learning materials to maximize learner engagement and retention.
- Ensure solutions align with client business context, goals, and measurable impact.
Client Management & Delivery
- Lead large, complex, multi-portfolio client engagements (>$500K; multi-country/global in scope).
- Manage project delivery teams, timelines, budgets, and profitability while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
- Oversee content development workflows, including production, LMS integration, and quality assurance of digital assets (videos, decks, assessments, captions).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, positioning as a trusted advisor.
Business Development & Growth
- Partner with account teams to shape and execute account expansion strategies.
- Lead solution design, pricing, proposal development, and high-stakes presentations/pilots to senior executives.
- Identify opportunities to innovate learning solutions and expand consulting services across portfolios.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor, coach, and develop consultants, learning associates, and project teams in consulting, instructional design, and client management capabilities.
- Mobilize and align resources across workstreams, fostering collaboration and accountability for project outcomes.
- Build organizational capability in emerging learning technologies and digital-first instructional design.
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, Instructional Design, or related field.
- 10–12 years of experience in learning & development consulting, instructional design, or enterprise education, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large, complex client engagements and delivering enterprise-level learning solutions.
- Strong expertise in instructional design, competency frameworks, assessment tools, and digital learning platforms (LMS, video-based learning, mobile learning).
- Experience in proposal development, business development, and client expansion.
- Professional certifications in instructional design, learning technologies, or consulting (preferred).
