YOUR IMPACT As a Lead QA Engineer within the ADM R&D Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our enterprise-grade applications. You will work closely with a talented team of developers and QA engineers, designing and implementing robust test automation strategies and ensuring thorough validation through both automated and manual testing. You will be instrumental in shaping our QA practices and infrastructure, mentoring team members, and contributing to cross-functional planning and Agile ceremonies. What The Role Offers Design and implement robust test automation frameworks and infrastructure Analyze complex systems and design detailed, effective tests with a customer-first mindset Lead and execute both manual and automated testing strategies across product features Create and maintain high-quality test plans, test cases, and test scripts Work closely with development teams across the SDLC, participating in Agile/SCRUM processes Provide timely and effective feedback during the product design and specification phase Be a key quality advocate, ensuring product releases meet performance, stability, and usability standards Mentor team members and foster best practices in software quality and automation What You Need To Succeed Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline Experience: Minimum of 7 years in both automation and manual testing of web applications Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Git, and REST API testing Proven expertise in designing test automation frameworks and scalable test infrastructures Excellent understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complex issues clearly A collaborative mindset and ability to work in a distributed, cross-functional team environment Mandatory Skills At least 7 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Java-based tools At least 7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of enterprise web applications Strong understanding of performance and stability testing Excellent communication and documentation skills OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
