Lead Quality Engineer (01) – Refinery Township, Bina

Overview

The Lead Quality Engineer will oversee the quality assurance and control (QA/QC) aspects of construction, infrastructure, and MEP works within the Refinery Township expansion project. This role ensures all works comply with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.

• Prepare quality plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements and get them approved by PMC/Client.

• Conduct material inspections, tests, and verify calibration of instruments.

• Supervise site quality teams, ensuring timely inspection and documentation through NCRs, CARs, and QIRs.

• Coordinate with the client, PMC, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.

• Ensure all civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works meet the approved drawings and specifications.

• Prepare monthly quality performance reports and ensure continuous improvement in QA/QC processes.

• Conduct internal audits, subcontractor evaluations, and technical training sessions for site teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC for large-scale industrial or township construction projects.

• Prior experience in township/building works projects preferred.

• Strong knowledge of IS codes, ASTM, ASME, and relevant QA/QC standards.

• Certification in ISO 9001, NDT Level II/III, or equivalent is preferred.
