Safety Engineer

Description of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a proven track record in implementing and maintaining safety standards across engineering and construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide safety policies, procedures, and programs.

-Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

-Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

-Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and site teams.

-Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare detailed reports with preventive recommendations.

-Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to ensure safe work practices.

-Maintain detailed documentation and records related to safety performance.

-Promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Graduate Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

-Minimum 5 years of professional experience

-Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations.

-Excellent command of English- able to speak, read, and write fluently.

-Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 45001).

-Strong communication and observation skills.
