Safety Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Coordinate with the site management and its contractors for implementing the control measures to eliminate/obviate the hazards prevalent at the project site. • Monitor and facilitate safety implementation at site • Assist site management to comply with all applicable regulations, relevant standards and codes of practice, client or project owner specifications (if any) pertaining to HSE as may be prescribed from time to time. • Monitor compliance with HSE requirements/ procedures/ practices of the client at site, per Site HSE Plan/ HSE Management system • Individual associated with the project (SCREENING,INDUCTION,PEP-TALKS & TRAINING • Carryout inspection of all PPEs, safety and fire equipment, • Systematically conducting HSE inspection on daily basis, recording and analysis of • Observations, categorization, reporting and finally following up closure of observations offline and online including observation raised by the project in charge. • Closely monitor / inspect all works carried out at height including lifting/ placement/erection of heavy structure/ equipment/ material at height and implement control measures for safe execution • Monitor PTWsystemand issue daily Safety clearance after ensuring that all safety measures and precautions are taken • Reviewing that the general principles of Safetyare implemented at the worksites. • Preparation of Risk Assessment and JSA for allroutine and non-routine jobs. • ConductedSafety Meetings on Meddle management level • Necessary arrangements for the to ensure the safe working and accident free in vessels, Tanks and big columns and excavation and civil jobs. • Implementation ofEmergencyRescue / evacuation Plan prior to starting the project. • Preparation of equipment Checklists, and self-Audit Check list. Preparation of incidents/accidents’ investigation reports. •
