Profile Description
We’re seeking someone to join our team as Vice President as a Lead QA Engineer. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Lead to oversee the QA efforts for Banking initiatives. The QA lead will be responsible for defining test strategies, co-ordinating test efforts and ensure delivery of high-quality software products. techniques. The individual should be experienced in functional testing, possess good automation testing skills, and take ownership of items independently while tracking to closure. The candidate will liaise with global teams to understand requirements, create test cases (e.g., unit, component, multi-component), as well as automate and deliver projects. The position requires attention to details, coupled with ownership, to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.

What You’ll Do In The Role
- Understand business requirements and technical specifications to design test cases, automate, and deliver projects run on Agile methodology.
- Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of testing efforts with business goals
- Conduct thorough functional, integration, regression and E2E testing on all client platforms
- Manage test cycles, including test planning, scheduling and reporting testing acitivities and progress.
- Track and manage defect using Jira
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and continuously seek opportunities for improvements
- Participate i release readiness reviews and own the QA sign off process for Banking applications.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Minimum BE degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field.
- 10 - 15 years of hands-on experience in QA.
- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC , Agile methodologies, test and defect management.
- Experience in API testing, SQL and Unix/Linux environments.
- Team player with good communication skills to work effectively in a global team
- Self-driven, motivated, and innovative
Desired Skills
- Prior experience working in the Financial Services Industry
- Working knowledge in Cypress
- Experience in CI/CD
