About Our Client

The employer is a large organization operating within the technology and telecoms sector. The company is known for its focus on innovation and delivering high-quality infrastructure projects, offering a professional environment for growth and development.
  • Grid Connectivity Planning: Secure 500-1000 MW grid connectivity annually by coordinating with CTU, STUs, and SLDCs for renewable energy projects.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct power evacuation feasibility assessments to evaluate transmission network capacity and system stability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to CEA, CERC, and SERC regulations while managing interconnection agreements and grid code compliance.
  • Network Modelling: Perform load flow studies and system impact assessments using tools like PSS®E, ETAP, and PowerWorld to recommend transmission upgrades.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with government agencies, transmission operators, and regulatory bodies to expedite approvals.
  • Site Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to identify optimal project sites based on resource availability and proximity to transmission infrastructure.
  • Sustainability Planning: Develop long-term strategies for scalable, low-loss transmission networks and future renewable energy corridors.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of grid connectivity approvals, feasibility reports, and regulatory documentation for senior management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related fields
  • Experience: 8-12 years in grid integration, power evacuation, and transmission network planning in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, hybrid).
  • Proven experience in securing connectivity from CTU and STUs and familiarity with CERC, CEA, and SERC regulations.
  • Strong understanding of load flow studies, network impact assessments, and transmission upgrades.
  • Good understanding of energy evacuation modelling and network analysis tools (PSS®E, ETAP, PowerWorld, etc.).
  • Ability to work effectively with regulatory bodies, external consultants, grid operators, and project development teams.
  • Good connects and networks within CTU and STU organization.
