Role Description

Lead – Placement & Corporate Relations

The role also involves overseeing internship programs, facilitating sensitization workshops with companies, and supporting post-placement engagement to ensure retention and career growth for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to guide students and match them to suitable job roles
• Experience working with youth or persons with disabilities is preferred

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Build and manage partnerships with Corporates, NGOs, and Government bodies for Internships and Placements
• Handle end-to-end placement activities: outreach, screening, interviews, and follow-ups
• Match students to suitable job roles based on skills, education, and career goals
• Organize Sensitization sessions and Volunteering session to promote inclusive hiring practices
• Oversee the maintenance of student placement data, including readiness and progress tracking
• Ensure internship programs are well-documented and aligned with students’ learning outcomes
• Review reports and analyze placement trends to guide future planning and strategies
• Oversee post-placement support to ensure smooth transitions and retention
• Coordinate with faculty to align curriculum with industry requirements
• Lead outreach efforts including LinkedIn campaigns, campus tours, corporate visits, and job fairs

Education: Any Bachelor’s Degree with 3–5 years of experience in HR, Placement, or Corporate relations.
