If you are interested in enabling smooth customer pre-approval/ pre-qualified/ live digital journeys while leveraging modular constructs and creating APIs to scale ML algorithms - this role will be the right fit for you. Responsibilities : You will be working on ensuring scaling of ML products and credit risk policy (incl. models) within pre-approved/ pre-qualified campaigns and live digital journeys. It will entail ensuring APIs operate smoothly at scale, identify ways to ensure simplified and low risk customer journey. We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial mindset, sound understanding of credit risk, with hands-on experience in algorithm design, cloud-based tools/ packages for automation and encryption and APIs. Qualifications : - Masters or Undergraduate in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with overall experience of 6-8 years with minimum of 3-4 years in MLOps or BRE implementation - End-to-end system design experience : Model/BRE implementation (batch process/ API/ cloud platform tools), debugging, and maintenance in production. - Experience in Python, Linux, cloud computing environment (AWS/ GCP), big data tools like warehouse, spark and pipelines management. - Knowledge of different Algorithms and Machine Learning techniques like regression, classification, clustering, CNN, tree-based algorithms, NLP etc. along with Hyper parameters tuning. - Strong communication and project management skills - Experience in Java would be a plus - Experience in credit risk would be a plus About the team : You will be part of ML Engineering Team within Digital Banking Unit of the bank. You will work in a fast-paced environment where new ideas are encouraged. This will involve liaising with teams within Digital and those across the bank e.g. data engineers, data scientists, product managers and senior business and credit risk stakeholders. The mandate of the Digital Business Unit at IndusInd Bank is as follows : - Building customer centric products with human centered design principles for retail Individual and micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) customer segments - Build innovative products and propositions backed with problem solving mindset to discover and solve latent needs of customers - Build Embedded Finance (Banking as a Service) applications - Ensure designs are highly available, highly modular, highly scalable and highly secure - Drive digital business Some of the applications managed by the Digital Business Unit include IndusMobile (bank's mobile app for retail individual clients), Indusnet (net banking application of the bank), IndusMerchantSolutions app, Whatsapp Banking, Chatbots, easycredit for Individuals, easycredit for Business Owners, savings, current account and fixed deposit online platforms.
