Senior Backend Engineer – Microservices & Cloud Platforms

Location: Noida , India (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a seasoned backend engineer to lead the development of scalable, event-driven systems in a cloud-native environment. You’ll be part of a high-impact team driving architecture, performance, and reliability across our distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build

  scalable microservices

  using

  Java 17

  and

  Spring Boot

• Develop

  reactive applications

  leveraging

  Spring WebFlux

  and

  Project Reactor

• Architect

  event-driven systems

  with

  Kafka

  and

  Azure Event Hub

• Partner with DevOps to deploy and monitor applications in

  AWS

  and

  Azure

• Create

  secure and high-performance REST APIs

  for real-time services
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion best practices
• Own system reliability through

  observability

  ,

  tracing

  , and

  logging

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years

  of backend development experience with

  Java

  and the

  Spring ecosystem

• Expertise in

  reactive programming

  and

  non-blocking I/O

• Proven experience with

  Kafka

  (Producers, Consumers, Streams)
• Hands-on with

  AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS)

  or

  Azure Event Hub and SDKs

• Skilled in building

  distributed systems

  that scale and perform
• Deep understanding of

  RESTful architecture

  ,

  async programming

  , and

  system design patterns

• Familiar with

  microservices testing strategies

  such as contract testing, mocking, and test containers
• Working knowledge of

  Docker

  ; experience with

  Kubernetes

  is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using observability tools like

  Grafana

  ,

  Prometheus

  ,

  ELK

  , or

  Datadog

• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipelines

  (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Agile team experience
• Working knowledge
