Job Summary:

Lead IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment for a variety of IT roles (software engineers, data scientists, DevOps, cybersecurity, etc.).
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, role expectations, and team dynamics.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other innovative channels.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for both technical and cultural fit.
  • Mentor and guide junior recruiters, sharing best practices and driving team performance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of tech talent through proactive sourcing and talent mapping.
  • Provide data-driven insights and reporting to hiring teams and leadership.
  • Support employer branding initiatives focused on the tech talent market.
  • Stay up-to-date on tech hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and market dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, including at least 12 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Proven track record of recruiting for IT and tech roles across various seniority levels.
  • Experience with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering quality hires quickly.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience hiring for niche or emerging tech stacks (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain, cloud-native).
  • Exposure to international or remote hiring practices.
  • Technical background or certifications (e.g., CompTIA, technical screening experience).
