Role description

Role Proficiency:

Ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage

Outcomes:

Create Test Estimates and Schedules

Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage

Ensure adherence of processes and standards

Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports for evidence of testing

Publish RCA reports and preventive measures

Report progress of testing

Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method

Job Title: API Tester Experience: 7+ years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced API Tester with strong expertise in API testing and a solid background in automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in validating RESTful and SOAP APIs, designing automated test frameworks, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Healthcare domain experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for APIs. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of APIs. Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Document test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of experience in API testing. Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML. Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or C# for automation. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps. Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Solid understanding of Agile methodology and SDLC. Preferred Skills Healthcare domain experience. Knowledge of cloud platforms and API management tools. Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
