ABOUT THE ROLE
Team16 is a sports event management organization focused on delivering high-impact sporting events through strategic brand partnerships and sponsorships. We are seeking motivated and target-driven individuals to join our team as Sponsorship Acquisition & Lead Conversion Executives.
This role involves identifying potential sponsors, initiating outreach, managing follow-ups, and converting qualified leads into confirmed sponsorships for Team16’s sports events. The position is performance-oriented and suitable for individuals who are confident in communication, comfortable with remote work, and interested in corporate partnerships and sports marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Executive will be responsible for generating sponsorship leads through platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Maps, referrals, and other approved channels. The role includes conducting professional outreach, engaging with decision-makers, sharing sponsorship pitch decks, and managing follow-ups until closure. Executives are expected to maintain accurate daily records of leads, interactions, and outcomes using company-approved tracking tools and to coordinate with the internal team to align sponsorship requirements with event objectives. Where required, the Executive may participate in virtual or in-person sponsor presentations.
PERFORMANCE & REPORTING EXPECTATIONS
This role requires strict adherence to daily reporting and documentation processes. All leads must be genuine, verifiable, and recorded in the designated lead tracker. Daily End-of-Day (EOD) reports and status updates are mandatory. Commission eligibility is subject to internal verification, successful sponsor conversion, and confirmed receipt of sponsorship payment by Team16.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
This position follows a commission-based compensation model. Executives will be eligible to earn a commission of five percent (5%) of the confirmed sponsorship value for leads generated by them that are successfully converted by the team. Executives who independently manage both lead generation and successful conversion will be eligible for a commission of ten percent (10%) of the confirmed sponsorship value. Commission shall be payable only upon successful conversion and receipt of sponsorship payment, and no commission shall be due for unconverted or unpaid leads.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should possess strong communication and presentation skills, a basic understanding of sales funnels and sponsorship concepts, and the ability to engage professionally with brands and corporate stakeholders. A self-driven, target-oriented mindset and comfort with remote working environments are essential. Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach tools, CRM systems, or lead tracking sheets is an advantage. Proficiency in English is required, and working knowledge of Tamil is mandatory.
