Job Description

Le département Ingénierie de conception des échangeurs thermiques, pour l'ilot conventionnel des centrales nucléaires renforce son équipe avec un(e) ingénieur(e) de conception mécanique structure. L'ingénieur(e) d'études sera en charge du dimensionnement mécanique du condenseur, en conformité aux codes et standards ainsi qu'aux rÚgles internes applicables et/ou en cours de développement. Il (elle) devra s'assurer de la qualité des plans de fabrication en fonction des calculs réalisés et des bonnes pratiques d'ingénierie.
The Heat Exchanger engineering department (Arabelle Solutions), needs to reinforce its team with a Mechanical Condenser Lead Engineer. The engineer will be in charge to perform mechanical design of condenser as per applicable codes, standard and internal rules to be created and maintained. Engineer must ensure the quality of the manufacturing drawing as per calculation and good engineering practice.

1.Principales Responsabilités et missions / Main Duties & Responsibilities

L'ingénieur sera en charge de :

  • RĂ©aliser, si nĂ©cessaire, les calculs analytiques mĂ©caniques pour le prĂ©-dimensionnement des produits en phase d'offres.
  • Analyser le contrat et les spĂ©cifications techniques afin d'identifier les points critiques avant de dĂ©marrer la conception
  • RĂ©aliser/Piloter le dimensionnement mĂ©canique des Ă©quipements en considĂ©rant les spĂ©cifications clients, les rĂ©glementations, les instructions internes, les donnĂ©es d'entrĂ©e et les codes de construction.
  • RĂ©diger/VĂ©rifier les notes de calculs
  • Revoir et valider les plans de fabrication des Ă©quipements.
  • Organiser, prĂ©senter ou participer aux revues de conception.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les ingĂ©nieries thermique et fabrication afin d'optimiser la conception.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les Ă©quipes d'intĂ©gritĂ© mĂ©canique en leur communiquant les hypothĂšses adĂ©quates Ă  considĂ©rer
  • Challenger les Ă©quipes d'intĂ©gritĂ© mĂ©canique en vĂ©rifiant les conditions limites des modĂšles Ă©lĂ©ments finis ainsi que les rĂ©sultats de calculs.
  • RĂ©pondre aux commentaires clients.
  • Contribuer Ă  la mise Ă  jour des rĂšgles internes de conception, en proposant des amĂ©liorations de conception ainsi que des rĂ©ductions de coĂ»ts basĂ©s sur le retour d'expĂ©rience des projet en exĂ©cution.
  • Etre en mesure d'apprĂ©hender des problĂ©matiques nouvelles (principalement liĂ©es Ă  la conception mĂ©canique, Ă  la fabrication et au cadre rĂ©glementaire).
  • Revoir/Valider les requĂȘtes fournisseurs (CR) et/ou les non-conformitĂ©s (NCR) liĂ©es Ă  la fabrication des produits.
  • Assurer la conformitĂ© aux exigences rĂšglementaires, y compris le respect des requis liĂ©s Ă  la SuretĂ© NuclĂ©aire
  • Respect des objectifs, sĂ©curitĂ© (EHS), qualitĂ©, dĂ©lais et couts sur les activitĂ©s confiĂ©es
  • The engineer will be in charge of:

    • Executing if required the analytical mechanical calculations for the sizing of products during tender phase
    • Executing contract and specification reading to identify critical areas prior designing equipment
    • Executing and leading the mechanical sizing of products considering client specifications and directives, internal guidelines, design instructions, input data and conception rules,
    • Executing / Checking the documentation and notes sent to clients,
    • Checking the manufacturing drawing of equipment
    • Organizing, presenting or participating to internal design review
    • Participating on demand to the client clarification meetings
    • Working in interface with thermal engineering and manufacturing quality teams for design optimization
    • Working in interface with mechanical integrity team, to communicate assumptions to be considered
    • Being able to challenge Mechanical integrity team by checking boundary conditions or other modeling assumptions of Finite Element model and calculation results
    • Being able to answer to customer issues
    • Contribute to design rules updating. Providing proposals for design improvement and cost reduction initiatives based on project's return of experience.
    • Being able to deal with new problematics (mainly mechanical issues, manufacturing issues, regulatory issue)
    • Review the Concession Request(s) (CR) and / or Non-Conformity Report (NCR) related to Products in manufacturing
    • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations, including Nuclear Safety requirements
    • Ensuring compliance to EHS rules. Contributing to EHS improvement on the whole product life cycle
    2.Compétences Requises/ Required Skills
    2.1.Education & Experience
    • DiplĂŽme d'ingĂ©nieur ou Ă©quivalent
    • 5+ annĂ©es d'expĂ©rience en ingĂ©nierie dans le secteur de l'Ă©nergie

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience in Engineering activities in industrial environment
    • Experience in power plant engineering,
    2.2.Savoir Techniques / Technical Know-how
    • Solides connaissances en ingĂ©nierie mĂ©canique (RDM, sciences des matĂ©riaux).
    • Bonnes connaissances des codes dans le domaine structure (EX/ Eurocode 3, CM 66)
    • Bonnes connaissances des principes en Ă©lĂ©ments finis, connaissance des outils d'Ă©lĂ©ments finis (tel ANSYS) apprĂ©ciĂ©es.
    • Bonnes connaissances des codes de calculs pour structures (Eurocode 3, CM 66)
    • Solides aptitudes Ă  rĂ©aliser des calculs et rĂ©diger des documents tels que notes de calcul, directives internes
    • des connaissances en enceintes sous pression et Ă©changeurs thermiques ainsi que les codes de construction associĂ©s (ASME, EN13445, CODAP, AD2000, WRC107, RCCM, GB-150, TEMA, HEI) seraient un plus.
    • Des compĂ©tences souhaitĂ©es sur au moins un outil de calculs pour enceintes sous pression ((AutoPipe Vessel, Compress, PVElite) seraient un plus
    • Fortes CompĂ©tences en Ă©laboration de plans techniques de fabrication et des bonnes pratiques, aisance avec les outils CAO (CATIA, produits Autodesk ou Ă©quivalent).
    • CapacitĂ© Ă  lire et vĂ©rifier des schĂ©mas tuyauterie et instrumentation (P&IDs)

    • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering physics
    • Strong knowledge in structure codes (Like Eurocode 3, CM 66),
    • Good knowledge of FEA principles, skills in FEA software (as ANSYS) helpful.
    • High Capability of making clear calculations and documents like calculation notes, internal guidelines
    • Knowledge in pressure vessel codes and heat exchange equipment standards and guidelines (ASME, EN13445, CODAP, AD2000 mandatory, WRC107, RCCM, GB-150, TEMA, HEI), helpful, (but not mandatory)
    • Knowledge of at least one pressure vessel calculation software (AutoPipe Vessel, Compress, PVElite) helpful, (but not mandatory)
    • Knowledge in engineering technical drawings construction and drawings good engineering practices, familiar with CAD tools: CATIA, Autodesk products or equivalent.
