Job Description

Key Responsibilities: EHS Management: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS Legal regulations and standards. In Depth Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Familiarize with Various Safety elements i.e. Material Handling, Overhead Cranes, Confined Space, Hot Work Safety, Powered Industrial Vehicles LOTO, Machine Safety, Chemical Safety, Work At Height, Contractor Safety Management & Construction Safety. Fire Safety: Oversee fire safety protocols and ensure fire prevention measures are in place. Conduct regular fire safety drills and training sessions. Review Work Procedures and identify gaps strengthening Fire Protection System in the plant. Safety Audit , Trainings & Campaigns: Perform regular safety audits and inspections across the plant and advise for the safety improvements. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Driving BBS System further strengthening Safety Culture in the plant. Preparing safety Modules & Conducting Safety Training on various elements as per company framework and safety procedures Driving Various Safety day Celebration campaigns. Plant Safety Leadership: Lead and manage the safety operations of the entire plant i.e. Fabrication Shop, Warehouse, Machine Shop & Generator Assembly Testing & Machine Shop Foster a culture of safety among all employees. Sustainability Initiatives: Define and implement sustainability initiatives. Prepare and execute roadmaps to achieve sustainability goals. Compliance Management: Ensure all EHS-related activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain up-to-date records of compliance and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and communicate effectively with the Shop Floor leaders and other stakeholders. Address and resolve EHS-related concerns promptly. Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Investigate incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures. Address and resolve EHS-related concerns promptly. Employee Well Being Management: Managing Occupational health center, Pre & periodical medical check ups, Leading for various Health Trainings, Talks & Check Up Camps through Medical team Working on the Workplace Upgradation & manage through OHC Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other EHS-related activities or initiatives as required. Education and Qualifications: Advanced / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS / PDIS ) from Regional / National Labor Institute Bachelor in Fire & Technology / Diploma in ( Mechanical / Electrical ) / Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering . Experience: A minimum of 5 - 9 years of total experience in the EHS field. Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficient in risk assessment and safety audit processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
