Role Overview

The Lead Desk & Sales Strategy Manager acts as the strategic hub between founders, sales teams, and factory operations. This role involves driving sales growth through process discipline, negotiation strategy, target allocation, and cross-functional coordination. The person will oversee all quotations, lead funnels, and ensure timely closures while aligning field execution with leadership vision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Desk & CRM Management

  • Manage the end-to-end lead funnel across channels from inquiry to closure.

  • Approve and release quotations after internal alignment with pricing and margin expectations.

  • Maintain the central CRM, ensuring 100% accuracy in data entry, follow-ups, and status updates.

  • Track and report lead conversion metrics and campaign ROI to founders weekly.

2. Sales Leadership & Target Governance

  • Allocate regional and associate-level targets monthly and quarterly.

  • Conduct structured daily/weekly reviews with sales associates and regional officers.

  • Drive motivation and discipline across the sales team through systems and goal ownership.

  • Identify high-performing territories and recommend resource allocation for better conversion.

3. Negotiation & Deal Structuring

  • Handle high-value negotiations (drone franchise, institutional, or state-linked orders).

  • Prepare pricing proposals and business cases for founder-level approval.

  • Standardize quotation formats and maintain profitability benchmarks.

4. Founders’ Office Coordination

  • Serve as the bridge between on-ground teams and founders — aligning expectations, reporting performance, and escalating key issues.

  • Collaborate closely with finance, marketing, and factory operations for delivery planning and payment follow-ups.

  • Participate in strategic discussions for district expansion, partner programs, and government tie-ups.

5. Sales Strategy & Market Development

  • Design and execute district-wise strategies with field teams.

  • Work with marketing to ideate and plan events, exhibitions, and roadshows that generate quality leads.

  • Contribute to sales playbooks, franchisee enablement kits, and digital campaign messaging.

Ideal Profile

  • 2-4 years in sales operations, lead desk management, or business coordination (preferably in agri-tech, manufacturing, or B2B sales).

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills.

  • Experience handling CRM systems and target-driven teams.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
