Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Data Architect with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing and leading data architecture initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that support enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and operational systems. The ideal candidate will be both technically proficient and business-savvy, capable of translating complex data needs into innovative architecture designs. Key Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and operational data needs. Define and enforce standards for data modeling, integration, quality, and governance. Lead the adoption and integration of modern data platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, streaming, etc.). Develop architecture blueprints, frameworks, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Collaborate with business, engineering, and analytics teams to deliver high-impact data solutions. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to data engineers and junior architects. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for future-state architectures. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a similar senior technical role. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Expertise in designing and managing large-scale data systems using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong proficiency in data modeling (relational, dimensional, NoSQL) and modern database systems (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift). Hands-on experience with data integration tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica) and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow). In-depth knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging solutions. Experience with real-time and batch data processing frameworks, including streaming technologies like Kafka.
