We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-savvy Data Steward to own critical data domains and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of data across enterprise systems. The Data Steward will act as a vital link between business and technical teams, upholding data standards and supporting data governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities Define, document, and maintain metadata, data definitions, and data quality rules for assigned data domains. Serve as the subject matter expert for master and reference data within respective business units. Perform data profiling, validation, merging, and remediation to maintain high data quality and integrity. Collaborate with Data Owners, Analysts, and IT teams to identify and resolve data issues. Monitor compliance with data governance policies and escalate non-conformance or inconsistencies. Support data cataloging, lineage tracking, and classification activities. Maintain and update master data in enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, or MDM systems. Required Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in data stewardship, data management, or business data operations. Strong understanding of master data, metadata management, data lifecycle, and data quality principles. Familiarity with data management tools like Informatica MDM, Talend, Collibra, Alation, or SAP MDG. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or data profiling tools. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams. Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have Experience with enterprise data platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, or similar. Knowledge of data privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and industry best practices. Relevant certifications in Data Management (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are a plus.
