Lead- Chairman & promoter Office

Purpose/Objective

The Chairman Office of the Adani Group supports the Promotors on key aspects related to strategy and new business identification/build, governance, risk management and capital allocation, strategic partner relationship management & special initiatives across group companies. In this context, we are seeking an enthusiastic, driven professional, with background in relevant industries, ideally in promoter driven organizations/consulting firms, with experience in driving analytics, decision making, corporate strategy and senior relationship management. The individual should have sound problem-solving skills and should be an excellent communicator, with an ability to develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders, slice through large volumes of data, drive rigor and triangulation of output & present cogent/convincing points of view (both in writing and in discussions)

Key Responsibilities of Role

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities Help set & refine strategic agenda for the BU Translate Chairman’s Vision and strategic agenda into an aligned action plan by working with senior BU stakeholders Ensure rigorous governance – regular review cadence, detailed insights Identify and implement transformative initiatives in the BU Help control capital allocations: Review proposed spend elements and ensure adequate evaluation and rigor Team building activities within Chairman’s office and strengthening systems, processes & collaboration Challenges Operate and thrive in fast paced and high performing environment Highly self-motivated and able to operate autonomously Able to work on multiple streams at a given time Role requires high appetite for analytics and comfort with handling of complex data sets; with a keen eye for rigor checking and triangulation Should be able to cut through large volumes of data to identify the key issues/ challenges with a BU Role requires quick turnaround and, on the feet, independent thinking Skill Set Requirement Business Acumen with strong detail orientation Financial acumen - Understanding of financial statements, financial metrics and their application in business contexts Digital-first mindset High comfort with large data sets & ability to synthesize Strong presentation and communication skills Strong relationship building skills

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: MBA from a Tier 1 institution Experience: 10+ years, Background of Corporate Strategy/Planning (Incl. Financial Planning)/Exposure to Executive office setup/Strategic Consulting
