Job Description

What will you be responsible for? Ensure that the Financial Statements are in compliance with relevant Indian Accounting Standards, US GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Work closely with cross functional teams in ensuring the month-close activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner and repoted onto HFM Validate purchase orders and amendment requests to ensure they comply with Sourcing policy, and route them for approvals. Review Balance Sheet account reconciliations to ensure the balances reported are supported with appropriate evidence and an action plan for the aged open items. Support the team in day-to-day activities by providing appropriate guidance for compliance with company policies and standards Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor and customer invoices, employee expense reports, and payments including application of customer receipts. Work closely with Tax consultants, Bankers to submit the required information ensuring accuracy and timeliness for various regulatory filings Ability to work collaboratively across functions to setup and maintain a Vendor Master, Item master, Fixed Asset, GST Tax and HSN Codes in ERP system. Assist in creating, documenting and maintaining policies and procedures along with internal control evaluations and implement best practices across processes. Develop in-depth knowledge of tools and applications in support of the accounting function and highlight opportunities for improvement, managing projects that will yield efficiency through automation and optimization Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responses to audit queries. Who we are looking for? Must be a Chartered Accountant 6-9 years of experience in Core Finance Good communication skills Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and drive operational initiatives.
