Your impactJob Requirements
- General ledger compliance and reporting.
- Monthly stat compliance - WHT and VAT returns filing.
- Coordinating and conducting Annual Audit, Preparation of IFRS compliant Financials, Preparation Corporate Income Tax Return (CITR), Preparation monthly withholding tax (WHT) and VAT returns, Financials for Government statistical Survey etc… for UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Iraqi entities.
- Responding to tax audit queries from the Auditors and tax department in coordination with various stake holders.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Prepare / Review monthly BS reconciliation.
- Prepare / review BS variance, PnL variance and OH cost variance analysis on monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly WHT returns, Coordinate the payment & file it prior to the due date.
- Prepare monthly VAT returns, coordinate the payment & file it prior to due date.
- Prepare IFRS compliant Financials for Annual audit, notes, CITR schedules, AWTR schedule etc...
- Collate audit query response with supporting documents, review and share it with Auditors / Tax consultants and discuss with them.
- Coordinate the audit and statutory filings.
Here's what you'll need
Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent with 8-10 years of work experience, or
- CA / CPA or equivalent professional qualification with 5- 10 years of work experience.
- Client-side exposure to statutory audit with big 4 and deliver within the time frame allowed.
- Should be proficient with Oracle financials R12 and well versed in MS Office.
- Should have sound GL Accounting experience along with preparing and reconciling the financial reports.
- Work experience in MNC with Project Management consultancy or Engineering, Construction firm, is preferred.
- Should be familiar with CIT, WHT, VAT and TP regulations of UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
- Should be able to pick up swiftly and deliver and be a team player.
